About Me
I am a mother to 3 beautiful children. I breast fed each of them and had 3 completely different journeys. I overcame mastitis, low milk supply concerns, an unexpected surgery, pumping while working full time, and painful latches. I’ve been there ladies, and I can tell you that there were days when I didn’t think it was worth it. But then I would look into my baby’s adoring eyes, take a deep breath, and try my best. Once all the bumps in the road were tackled, I found the one-on-one time with my baby blissful and calming.
It is because of this experience that I decided to pursue lactation and postpartum care, so that I could help other women overcome their challenges, and better yet, to educate pregnant woman so they can be prepared. There is so much information being thrown at pregnant woman regarding their pregnancy and what to expect during their delivery, and yet breastfeeding is often missed during these prenatal visits. My goal is to arm as many women as possible with all the information I have to offer, so they can prepare themselves to get breastfeeding off on the right foot!
I also discovered the beauty of helping families through the 4th trimester. No matter what your family looks like at home, (first baby, 5th baby, twins, working parents, etc.) all parents of newborns need help. Parents need that empathetic ear to let them know that they are not alone and that someone is in their corner. I am your person and I love being that person!
