1.      Breast size matters when it comes to making breastmilk. FALSE

Breast size has nothing to do with the amount of milk you produce!

 

2.      Not drinking enough water affects your milk production. FALSE

The amount of fluid a breastfeeding mother consumes has nothing to do with her milk production. As long as the mothers body is not in starvation mode – her breasts will make milk.

 

3.      What your diet looks like can affect your milk supply. FALSE

A mother’s diet will not affect her bodies ability to make milk, BUT.. If a mother is on a poor diet that is not nourishing her enough to give her the appropriate energy, she may not be as responsive to her baby.
